The Top 5 Movies of 2023 (So Far)

2023’s first movie update comes at a particularly polarizing time for the industry. While I have seen firsthand the incredible excitement surrounding this past month of new releases, at the same time, I feel a little sad knowing a wide-ranging strike is gripping writers and actors. I don’t remember the last time I saw as much energy overtake theaters and moviewatchers, but I hope it keeps on going.
