It’s high time I shared my very belated list of the top fifteen movies of 2023. As always, it was a banner year for filmmaking, and each story I saw on screen, no matter how good or bad, had at least a little purpose to me and my life. I saw well over twenty movies last year but fifteen of them cut the mustard enough for me to honor them. Here they are:
